Το Τμήμα Πολιτικών Μηχανικών του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας, στο πλαίσιο της Σειράς Επιστημονικών Διαλέξεων, πραγματοποιεί διαδικτυακά την επιστημονική διάλεξη του Professor at Università degli Studi di Firenze Adriano Alessandrini με θέμα ”Advanced sharing and on-demand transport services dimensioning and managing them”.
Λίγα λόγια για τον Professor Adriano Alessandrini:
Professor Adriano Alessandrini is a mechanical engineer with PhD in energy technologies. Adriano Alessandrini is currently associate professor of transportation (ICAR-05) at the University of Florence.
His main research interests are the environmental impact of vehicles (and drivers) and automated and innovative transport systems. He participated and coordinated more than 50 national and international research project including CityMobil2, which he coordinated, the largest European initiative on fully automated road transport systems at the time, which was first to carry more than 100 thousand passengers on automated road busses between 2012 and 2016.
He lectured in many prestigious universities like CA Berkeley, Princeton, TU Delft, Wuhan and Tokyo; was expert and evaluator for (among the others) DG Environment, INEA, U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) and was part, representing Europe, of the Trilateral Working Group on automated road vehicles and transport systems on “New Generation Transport”.
In 2025 he co-funded the spin off company of the University of Florence TUSS srl to bring on the market the TUSS services demonstrated as research projects.
